Narrator: "The canvas opens with a single 'Start' node. This is the entry point of your bot flow. Everything begins here." Screen: Visual flow editor with a blank canvas and one green "Start" node in the center Action: Canvas loads — Start node is highlighted

Scene 4: Understanding Nodes (1:40-3:00)

Narrator: "On the left panel, you see the node library. These are the building blocks of your bot. Let's walk through each type." Screen: Left panel showing node categories and types Action: Expand the node library panel

Narrator: "The 'Message' node sends a text message to the customer. Drag it onto the canvas and connect it to the Start node." Screen: Drag a Message node from the panel onto the canvas Action: Click and drag "Message" node — drop it to the right of Start — a connection line appears automatically

Narrator: "Click the Message node to configure it. Type the message your bot should send — for example, 'Hi! Welcome to Acme. How can I help you today?' You can add buttons for the customer to choose from." Screen: Message node configuration panel opens on the right — text field and button editor Action: Type greeting message — click "Add Button" — type "Product Info" for button 1 — type "Talk to Human" for button 2

Narrator: "The 'Condition' node lets you branch the flow based on customer input or contact data. For example, if the customer clicked 'Product Info', go one way; if they clicked 'Talk to Human', go another." Screen: Drag a Condition node onto the canvas — connect it to the Message node Action: Drag Condition node — configure condition: "If button clicked = Product Info" → one path, "Else" → another path

Narrator: "The 'Action' node performs operations like assigning a conversation, adding a tag, creating a deal, or updating a contact field." Screen: Drag an Action node onto one of the condition branches Action: Configure Action node — select "Add Tag" — type "Interested in Products"

Narrator: "The 'Wait' node pauses the flow for a specified duration. This is useful when you want to send a follow-up message after a delay — for example, wait 24 hours, then send a reminder." Screen: Drag a Wait node — configure it to wait 24 hours Action: Set wait duration to 24 hours — connect to a follow-up Message node

Narrator: "The 'Webhook' node sends data to an external URL. Use this to integrate with third-party systems — for example, trigger an action in your CRM, ERP, or notification service." Screen: Drag a Webhook node — configure URL and payload Action: Enter a webhook URL — configure JSON payload with contact data

Scene 5: Building a Complete Flow (3:00-4:20)

Screen: Add Message nodes to the Product Info branch Action: Drag two Message nodes — connect them in sequence — configure text for product info and demo question

Narrator: "Add buttons to the demo question: 'Yes, schedule a demo' and 'No thanks'. If they choose yes, add an Action node to create a deal and assign the conversation to your sales team." Screen: Add buttons — add Condition node — add Action node for deal creation Action: Configure buttons — wire up condition — configure Action: "Create Deal" and "Assign to Sales Team"

Narrator: "For the 'Talk to Human' path: add an Action node that immediately assigns the conversation to a human agent, followed by a Message node saying 'Let me connect you with a team member right away.'" Screen: Build the human handoff path Action: Add Action node for assignment — add Message node with handoff text — connect nodes

Narrator: "End each path with an 'End' node. This signals that the bot flow is complete for that branch." Screen: Add End nodes to each branch Action: Drag End nodes — connect them to the final nodes on each path

Scene 6: Triggers (4:20-5:10)

Narrator: "Your bot needs a trigger to know when to start. Click on the Start node to configure its trigger." Screen: Click Start node — trigger configuration panel opens on the right Action: Click Start node — settings panel appears

Narrator: "Available triggers include: 'New Conversation' — the bot starts whenever a customer begins a new conversation. 'Keyword Match' — the bot activates when a customer types a specific word like 'help' or 'pricing'. 'Channel-specific' — the bot runs only on certain channels like WhatsApp or the web widget." Screen: Trigger type dropdown showing options: New Conversation, Keyword Match, Channel-Specific, Schedule, Manual Action: Click through each trigger type to show its configuration options

Narrator: "Let's set this bot to trigger on new conversations from the web widget only. Select 'New Conversation' as the trigger type and check 'Web Widget' in the channel filter." Screen: Select "New Conversation" — check "Web Widget" in channel filter Action: Configure trigger — click Save

Narrator: "You can also combine triggers. For example, trigger on new conversations AND when the customer types 'help' as a fallback." Screen: Add second trigger — Keyword Match with "help" keyword Action: Click "Add Trigger" — configure keyword trigger — save

Scene 7: Testing the Bot (5:10-6:00)

Narrator: "Before publishing, always test your bot. Click the 'Test' button in the top-right corner of the editor." Screen: "Test" button highlighted in the editor toolbar Action: Click "Test" — test chat window opens on the right side

Narrator: "The test window simulates a customer conversation. The bot sends its greeting message and displays the buttons. Click a button to follow that path through the flow." Screen: Test window shows greeting message with "Product Info" and "Talk to Human" buttons Action: Click "Product Info" — bot responds with product information — next message appears with demo question

Narrator: "As you interact with the test, the flow editor highlights the active node in real time. This makes it easy to see which path is being followed and debug any issues." Screen: Canvas zooms to show the active node highlighted in blue as the test progresses Action: Watch the highlighting move from node to node during the test conversation

Narrator: "If something isn't working as expected, close the test, adjust the node configuration, and test again. Iterate until the flow works perfectly." Screen: Close test window — edit a Message node — reopen test — verify fix Action: Quick edit-and-retest cycle demonstrated

Scene 8: Publishing the Bot (6:00-6:40)

Screen: "Publish" button in the editor toolbar — click to publish Action: Click "Publish" — confirmation dialog: "Your bot 'Welcome Flow' will go live on Web Widget. Publish now?"

Narrator: "Click 'Confirm' to publish. The bot's status changes from 'Draft' to 'Active' and it starts processing conversations immediately." Screen: Click "Confirm" — status badge changes from yellow "Draft" to green "Active" Action: Confirm publish — observe status change

Narrator: "You can pause a live bot at any time by clicking 'Pause'. This stops the bot from triggering on new conversations but does not interrupt any conversations already in progress." Screen: "Pause" button appears where "Publish" was — click to pause Action: Show the Pause button — demonstrate clicking it — status changes to "Paused"

Narrator: "To make changes to a live bot, click 'Edit'. DOLU.ai creates a draft version so your live bot continues running while you make updates. When ready, publish the updated version." Screen: Click "Edit" on a live bot — draft version created — banner: "Editing draft — live version still active" Action: Click Edit — observe the draft banner

Scene 9: Using Templates (6:40-7:40)

Screen: Salesbot dashboard — click "Create Bot" — switch to "Templates" tab Action: Click Create Bot — click Templates tab — template gallery displayed

Screen: Click "Use Template" — bot editor opens with the pre-built flow — all nodes editable Action: Click "Use Template" — editor opens — click a Message node — customize the text
