Company Profile Settings

How the AI Brain Uses Company Profile
The company profile is not just administrative data. The AI Brain actively references these fields:
- Business Name: The AI introduces itself as representing your business by name.
- Sector: The AI adapts its vocabulary and suggestions based on your industry. A restaurant tenant gets food-service language; a clinic tenant gets healthcare language.
- Working Hours: Outside business hours, the AI informs customers of when they can expect a human response.
- Address: When customers ask "Where are you located?", the AI provides your address.
- Contact Details: The AI shares your phone or email when customers explicitly ask for them.
Tips & Best Practices
Keep Your Sector Accurate
Your sector selection directly influences how the AI Brain communicates. If you change your business focus, update the sector immediately so the AI adapts its tone and terminology.
Upload a High-Resolution Logo
Use a logo that is at least 256x256 pixels. The widget and emails scale the logo down, so a higher resolution ensures clarity across all devices.
Set Realistic Working Hours
Do not set 24/7 availability unless you truly have staff available around the clock. The AI Brain handles off-hours conversations gracefully by collecting customer information for follow-up.
Fill In Billing Fields Early
Completing your legal name, tax office, and tax number upfront avoids delays when generating your first invoice or exporting financial reports.
Troubleshooting
Logo not displaying in the widget
- Ensure the image file is under 2 MB and in PNG, JPG, or SVG format.
- Clear your browser cache and reload the widget page.
- Check that the logo URL is accessible (no firewall or CDN restrictions).
AI Brain not mentioning the correct business name
- Verify the Business Name field is saved correctly in Settings > Company Profile.
- If you recently changed the name, allow up to 5 minutes for the AI Brain to pick up the update.
Working hours auto-reply not triggering
- Confirm the Time Zone is set correctly.
- Make sure the working hours are saved (click Save Changes).
- Check that the channel's business hours feature is enabled in Settings > Channels > [Channel].
Address not appearing on invoices
- All address fields must be filled in for the address to render on invoices.
- Check Settings > Company Profile > Address and ensure no fields are blank.
FAQ
Q: Can I have different working hours for different channels? A: The company working hours set here serve as the default. You can override hours per channel in Settings > Channels > [Channel] > Business Hours.
Q: Does changing the sector affect my existing AI conversations? A: No. Past conversations are not modified. The sector change applies to new conversations going forward.
Q: Can I add multiple addresses? A: Currently, DOLU.ai supports one primary business address. If you have multiple branches, use the primary address and mention branches in your AI knowledge base.
Q: Is the tax information shared with customers? A: No. Tax Office, Tax Number, and Legal Name are only used internally for billing and invoicing. They are never exposed to customers.
Q: Can I remove the logo once uploaded? A: Yes. In the Branding section, click the Remove button next to the current logo. The widget and emails will revert to the default DOLU.ai branding.
Q: How do I change the default country from Turkey? A: In the Address section, click the Country dropdown and select your country. This also affects the billing country default.
